Pocket Option Mobile App

Trade from anywhere with the Pocket Option mobile app. Features, charting, order placement, alerts, data usage and best practices.

Mobile trading overview

The Pocket Option mobile app turns your phone into a full trading desk. The order panel sits comfortably in one hand, push notifications alert you to price levels, and biometric login removes friction without weakening security. For traders who watch markets through the day rather than during a fixed session, the mobile app often becomes the primary interface.

Key mobile features

  • Live charts with 30+ indicators.
  • One-tap trade execution.
  • Push notifications for price alerts and trade outcomes.
  • Biometric login (Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint).
  • Social-trading feed.
  • In-app deposit and withdrawal.
  • Multilingual interface.

Charting on mobile

The mobile chart supports the same candlestick, line, bar and Heikin-Ashi modes as the desktop version. Pinch to zoom, two-finger drag to scroll, long-press to add drawings. On smaller screens we recommend a single indicator at a time to avoid clutter.

Placing orders on mobile

Tap the asset you want to trade, set the stake using the slider or numeric keypad, choose expiry, then tap Call or Put. Confirmations are optional — you can disable them once you are confident. Pending trades are accessed via the clock icon at the top of the order panel.

Notifications and alerts

Set a price alert by long-pressing the chart at the desired level. The app will push a notification when price touches that level. This is far less stressful than staring at the screen waiting for setups.

Data usage

The mobile app uses approximately 30–60 MB per hour of active charting. On a metered connection, switch to Wi-Fi or reduce the timeframe granularity to control consumption.

Battery considerations

Live charts use the GPU. A modern phone can handle a full trading session, but expect noticeable battery drain. Close the app between sessions instead of leaving it open in the background.

Offline behaviour

The app cannot execute trades offline. When connectivity is lost, the order panel is greyed out and existing open trades continue to resolve on the server based on their expiry. Always confirm the result once you reconnect.

Mobile best practices

  • Enable biometric login on first launch.
  • Disable confirmation toggle only after a month of error-free use.
  • Use push alerts instead of staring at charts.
  • Trade on Wi-Fi when possible.
  • Update the app the moment a new version appears.
